Twitter is becoming one of the most visited sites on the entire internet and it is growing bigger and bigger every day. If you are not using social media and especially twitter for your business, you are literally leaving money on the table.

So Lets talk about how to increase twitter followers in order to get highly targeted followers in to your twitter account.

When you are posting some valuable tweets it is great when you have someone who will read your posts. And you want to have targeted people, because otherwise you are not working effectively. If you are for example in Internet Marketing niche you want to have followers with same interests – internet marketing.

If you have targeted followers it will be easier to network with them, because you have several things in common. And do not forget that social media is great place to connect with people, not place to posting your ads in every tweet you make.

So lets talk about how to increase twitter followers.

Add yourself in twitter directory. This is great tip, because you will get constant followers and you have to only work once. Add yourself in proper category, because this way you will get targeted followers. Just Google twitter directory and you will get several websites.

Manually follow people. When you follow someone in most cases they will follow you back. Follow people that are in similar niche. Find them in twitter search (by searching keywords or niches) or use twitter directory.

Use sites where you can automatically follow people by choosing the proper keywords. Some of them are paid I suggest to look for free version.

When you are uploading video, writing article, emails put your twitter link there and increase twitter followers instantly.

Put your twitter link on your profile in article directories and social networking sites. People will follow you because they want to know you more and this can be way to generate leads.

These are some basic tips how to increase twitter followers. Use twitter wisely, do not tweet only about your business, put some great quote there, articles, videos, funny videos and something like that. And remember always give value.

Over the course of the past 15 months, I have been primarily focused on successful Twitter marketing. In fact, over that time I have built a Twitter following of almost 500,00 followers over a variety of accounts and I can easily say that I know what works and what does not. (You get this kind of knowledge when you are creating 10,000 click throughs per day…which we are.) Successful Twitter marketing demands that you understand Twitter. If there is one thing that Twitter folk are, it is curious. They love content. And they do not love to be sold to. Feel free to let that last part seriously sink in. If you think that you are going to run to Twitter to sell WITHOUT GREAT CONTENT, you are sadly mistaken. And remember, I have built a tidy little number of followers and I monitor what they click through to and I also know what they un-follow because of.

If you are looking to get more traffic then there is one thing that you can do to get more traffic and that is using twitter as a marketing tool. You can make money through twitter and you can also build relationships as well. I have personally used twitter to build a following of almost 3,000 people and I treat each and ever single one of these people as a personal friend.

You can build relationships with people- By making tweets and replying to tweets this is how you can start making friends and build a presence online with your market. You need to make yourself the authority’s in your market and become the go to guy or gal that everyone wants to learn from.

You can get more traffic- The more tweets you make containing links to your websites and offers the more clicks you will get. However you must first build a presence in your market if you just spam a 100 links a day you will never get any clicks because people will think it’s all spam

You can make more sales The more traffic you get the more sales you will make, thats proven

You can build a bigger list, You can start sending traffic your your opt in page and in return give them something of value in exchange ask them for their email addresses so that you can begin to help them and build relationships.

I would focus on following people, every day try to make like 10 good post asking questions, re tweeting people, then I would make about 5 post that contain a link to your website.
